Borgo Magredo was founded in 1973 and has always followed the winemaking traditions of Grave.

These lands of “magredi,” near the town of Spilimbergo, were formed many thousands of years ago when rivers flowing down from the Alps brought to the valley millions of pebbles and stones.

The soil is indeed “meager” but suited to production of excellent wines.
